Hi, my name is Miatta!

I’m so proud of you for taking the first steps to be a better you! Life can be hard, especially when you’re in those transition stages of life; teenage years and early adulthood.

You’re going through so much change. Maybe you’re starting a new school year, and you find yourself feeling uneasy, anxious, and sad. You may experience struggling to make friends or fit in. Maybe you’re just trying to figure out life on your own. Sometimes those situations start to make us feel unseen, unheard, lonely, and powerless, within our own life.

Allow me to help you navigate these challenges by supporting you and providing therapeutic tools to establish healthy coping.

I am passionate about working with young people in diverse communities; addressing issues that are common, such as anxiety, trauma, depression, identity, relationships, and life transitions. My goal is to make you feel safe, understood, and supported. You are not alone on this journey. Your feelings are valid, and it’s okay to feel what you’re feeling.

I want to help you establish a sense of “self.” Choosing me as your therapist guarantees a judgment-free zone, a space to express whatever you want/need to, and a listening ear, filled with compassion. As your therapist, I am here for you! I want you to feel safe, supported, and welcome. I look forward to meeting you.
